Our Story
Beat Wines was born from a simple yet profound conviction: wine is not just a product, it is a cultural expression. It is territory, people, time, decisions, and context. Beat Wines exists to reconnect wine with everything that surrounds it and gives it meaning.
We are Elías and Nuria: a winemaker with deep experience and sensitivity for the origin, process, and honesty of wine, and a wonderful host driven by the passion to welcome, share, and create spaces where people feel at ease. As wine hunters, we travel the world in search of unique wines.
This combination of winemaking rigor and natural hospitality has defined the character of Beat Wines from the very beginning. It is not just about knowing wine, but about knowing how to share it. We are not looking for fashion, volume, or standardization. As wine hunters and importers, we travel the world in search of unique wines.

We introduce you to true gems that we’ve personally selected to open your mind to a richer wine culture. Cooler. And more authentic.
Sustainability at Our Core
We champion respect for the land and the revival of native grape varieties to craft high-quality wines with minimal environmental impact.

Nuria Moya
COMMUNICATION & EVENTS
I’m a sommelier and hold a degree in tourism, and I love making people feel comfortable and creating those magical moments around a table.
Professionally, I have been connected to the world of hospitality and restaurants in Germany and Spain. My passion for wine led me to expand my knowledge through the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) qualification.
Since 2021, I have been part of Beat Wines, where I design events and run our wine bar, and together with an amazing team, we have earned a “Solete Repsol.”
In our new CLUB, I will be your host, making sure it becomes a truly great experience.
If we’re talking wine and music, I’ll go with a fresh Garnacha to the rhythm of Soul.
Elías López Montero
CO - FOUNDER
A passionate winemaker and tireless traveler, my family has been connected to wine since 1788, so surely a percentage of my blood has passed through clay jars or barrels.
I have worked in vineyards in South Africa and Chile, and I was the first Spaniard to make wines in Argentine Patagonia. Since 2005, together with my family, I have led VERUM wineries and vineyards. Every year, I travel across the five wine continents, learning about other realities, other territories, and discovering spectacular wines that are not easy to find. The desire to share that experience is what led me to found BEAT WINES in 2021.
In the club, I will be the wine hunter, in charge of selecting those essential wines, those precious gems, and the stories that define our winemakers.
